Overview

Welcome to the UMass Boston Intramural Program! The Intramural office is located inside the Beacon Fitness Center, McCormack, 01/710. Intramural Sports are designed to provide the UMass Boston community with an enjoyable opportunity to participate in organized recreational competition. Intramurals is a fun and competitive environment with structured leagues and tournaments. Competition is offered in a variety of sports and activities. Events are coordinated and supervised by Athletics staff. Team sport games are officiated by student employees.

Signing Up

How do I sign up a team?
For team sports,click on the link to the desired sport once registration opens and fill out the roster/entry form (team captain only).

How do I sign up as an individual?
For individual sports (tennis, squash, etc.), click on the link to the desired sport once registration opens and fill out the entry form.

Free Agent List

Individuals who can't form a full team for team sports, may post an online ad (click ‘Free Agent List’ link under desired sport once registration opens). Although there are no guarantees, most “free agents” do end up joining a team or getting together to form a team.
