Rochester Intramurals

Overview

The Intramural Sports program at the University of Rochester is designed for the participation, recreation, and enjoyment of the entire University community. Regardless of ability, we strive to realize the benefits of social recreation and competitive involvement. This includes faculty, staff, undergraduate and graduate students and members of the R Club.
It is our goal to maintain a safe and fun environment, free from arguments and fighting, both of which are punishable by the intramural supervisors and directors.

Signing Up

How do I sign up a team?
For team sports,click on the link to the desired sport once registration opens and fill out the roster/entry form (team captain only). Captain's meetings at the beginning of each intramural season are MANDATORY for all teams. Each team must hand in a $20 refundable forfeit fee at and only at the captain's meeting. Only cash is accepted! $20 is returned for no forfeits and $10 for one forfeit.

Free Agent List

Individuals who can't form a full team for team sports, may post an online ad (click 'Free Agent List' link under desired sport once registration opens). Although there are no guarantees, most 'free agents' do end up joining a team or getting together to form a team.
